Sahand Hamzehei
Graduate Teaching Assistantship
My professional interest is motivated by the impact of technological advancements on a smart society. Currently, I am working on doctoral research at the University of Connecticut under the supervision of Dr. Sheida Nabavi, with a specific emphasis on the theoretical dimensions of bioimage and mammographic analysis. I graduated from the Polytechnic University of Turin with a Master's in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for Smart Societies. My professional and academic development have been influenced by a variety of experiences, including collaborating with the Mauriziano Umberto Hospital on a master's thesis and accepting a research position at the LINKS Foundation. My background includes the theoretical foundations of image processing and machine learning. My goal is to contribute greatly to the advancement of the ICT domain, with a particular emphasis on its capacity to create a smart society.
